Homemade Whipped Cream

1/2 pint whipping cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Whip the cream with a mixer. (Be careful not to overbeat as the cream will turn to butter.) When the cream begins to thicken, add sugar and vanilla. Refrigerate any left over whipped cream in the refrigerator.
