Pamida's Winter Hours

Winter hours have gone into effect at the Pamida store in Scott City now. The employees who I spoke with told me that these hours should probably last for the months of January and February. They assume that regular hours will go back into effect come March. Here they are:

Monday through Saturday: 9-7:00 CST

Sundays: 11-5:00 CST

Right now, they are giving their customers an opportunity to "round up" their sales total to the nearest dollar. This is optional!!! You are not required to round up. If you prefer to give more, they will be happy to do that also. The extra money that you give will be donated to local charities. Right now, the money is being given to the Scott County Ministerial Alliance. Personally, I find this to be a great charity that will go to help those people who are having difficulties making their checks stretch far enough for their food as well as the bills they must pay. Some people and their children are having to go away from the dinner table hungry... I appreciate the PAMIDA Corporation for supporting these charities!!!
