Patricia Kay Bergquist--Tribune

Patricia Kay Bergquist, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at her home in rural Greeley County, Kansas. Patricia was born November 4, 1947 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, the daughter of Julius Phillip & Mary Elizabeth Ruhl Donnelly. She was a farm wife and homemaker and had been a Greeley County resident since 1966. Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary, both of Tribune, Kansas. She was also involved with the Friday Hair Care group at Greeley County Long Term Care in Tribune for several years. On October 29, 1966, Patricia married DeWain Bergquist at Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. Surviving family members include Husband- DeWain Bergquist- Tribune, Kansas One daughter- Jodi Nixon- Amarillo, Texas Two sons Erick Bergquist- Goodland, Kansas Erin Bergquist- Cheyenne Wells, Colorado Five brothers- James Donnelly- Robertsdale, Alabama Larry Donnelly- Montrose, Colorado William Donnelly- Phoenix, Arizona Steven Donnelly- Cheyenne Wells, Colorado Kevin Donnelly- Winfield, Kansas Five sisters- Mary Beth Donnelly- Kansas City, Missouri Barb Ryser- Cheyenne Wells, Colorado Kathy Donnelly- “ Janet Donnelly- Falmouth, Massachusetts Pamela Sutton- Ness City, Kansas Two step brothers- Dave Smalley- Cheyenne Wells, Colorado Carl Smalley- “ Two step sisters- Janice Stramel- Ontario, Oregon Twyla Smalley- Cloudland, Georgia Three grandchildren Alexis Bergquist- Goodland, Kansas Evin Bergquist- Goodland, Kansas Jaci Nixon- Amarillo, Texas She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Tom & David Donnelly. Vigil services will be held at 7:00 pm (MDT) Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune, Kansas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am (MDT) Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune, Kansas with Father Benjamin Martin officiating. Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. Friends may call from10:00 am through 5:00 pm Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Greeley County Long Term Care in care of the funeral home.
