Todd Becker Foundation
On Wednesday afternoon and evening, adults and school children flocked to the Wichita County High School Auditiorium to listen to Keith Becker of Kearney, Nebraska as he gave a moving and inspirational talk to all about the dangers of using drugs and alcohol and how by doing so, can total out a life. Keith is the older brother of Todd who was a senior who had everything going for him until one fateful night, his life was lost...forever.
Keith travels throughout the country giving outstanding talks to whoever will listen. The foundation charges about 30% of what most speakers are charging today. The cost is offset because of donations. If you are interested in making a donation of any amount, please send a check or money order to the following address:

Class of 1980
The last weekend of July is the 2010 Wichita County Fair. We are planning a 30 year class reunion on that Friday evening. Jobs needed
I am trying to help a young couple find employment in the Greeley and Wichita County area. He is 30-years-old and has experience in farming, maintenance, construction and retail. She is just a couple of years younger that him. Her experience include retail, cooking, cleaning.
This couple is married but have no children at this time. They are prepared to move to Leoti or Tribune as soon as jobs are located.

P.S. Dear "An Anonymous Group of Leotians"
Last night, I was furious when I learned of the nasty undertaking that someone or someones had decided to blast away at C. I fought back at those coldbooded individuals who meant only to hurt C--they had no intentions of providing any "good" throughout their heartless comments.
Since then, I have received email from SEVERAL people and a few phone calls from people who, like me, do not support your "cause".
Non surpringly, people have figured out who C is so I am going to allow the rest of you to know who C is. C is Chris Campbell. Though you notorious individuals will find out from this that she was hurt by the nastiness that you scooped out at her. I was too. In addition to Chris, Peter and me, it seems that there is a CONSIDERABLE amount of others who agree with US, not you!!! Maybe you think that your grade school antics have been terrific, guess again! The ADULTS in our community think otherwise. I don't have the time to write each and every comment here that I received but the bottom line of what the people impressed upon me was that they are very proud of Chris and her accomplishments. Oh, less I forget, they genuinely LIKE and CARE ABOUT HER!!! Hmmm, imagine that. Your corroded little minds' opinions are NOT shared by the majority of current and ex-Leotians.
At least since I was a child, there have been evil Leotians who have done their absolute damndest to hurt their fellow classmates. They did it to me and they've done it to Chris. At least in my case, several of those people from my class have come to me later and apologized for the hell that they put me through. That is because they have grown up and have become exempliary people in their adulthood. I guess that I just ASSUMED that Chris' classmates had done the same thing. Guess not. They're still living back in the days of flinging spit wads and pulling of hair...
I want to thank those of you who have called me and sent email to let me know how you found the email that was sent to Chris to be totally disgusting!
I do feel inclined to add another piece of information here. Those dimwits who wrote the emal crucified Chris for doing humanitarian work in other parts of the world instead of Leoti. Well...in case you haven't noticed, Leotians have been so blessed. Most of the people here who WANT TO WORK, have jobs. Of course, there is that minute amount of people who prefer to live off of the rest of us but that is another story in itself. We don't see the sick and starving children and adults living in tents or cardboard boxes here. We have SAFE drinking water here. Our land in Wichita County produces an abundance of grain to not only feed us but it also feeds the world. We do not have organized groups of men and women who come into our towns to rape and pillage the townspeople. So then, why do you think that Chris, Peter and their friends, famous or not, should be HERE donating their humanitarium support???
Oh, and to the one(s) who wrote the email to Chris, have a wonderful day!!! Maybe you, too, will grow up one of these days...
