Water Rate Correction

Okay, okay, okay. Remind me to NEVER post anything on here on days when I am not up-to-par!

Last Thursday, I was talking with employees of the City Department. I have been concerned about just how much the new price hike was going to affect our water bill. I had some of the numbers right but not all of them. See what it is like to live a day in the life of me??? Don't get me wrong. I love my life and am generally very happy but occassionally, my seizure problems really do a number on how I understand some things. So, please accept my apology. Here is the corrected information:

Originally, consumers paid $18.38 for the first 2,000 gallons that they used. Now, we will be paying $30.00 for the first 5,000 gallons.

I apologize for any problems that this may have caused anyone.
