Students in Wichita County from third grade through eigth grade will compete against each other in the 2010 spelling bee in Leoti. It will be held on Wednesday, February 10th, at 2:00 in the RBSES gym.
Two students are selected from each classroom. In the end, 24 students will walk on stage to spell their words in front of their classmates, family and friends. This year's winner will go to the State Spelling Bee in Great Bend. After that, the winners of each state's spelling bee will go on to the national spelling bee.
I will keep you posted as to who will represent each class and then the winner who will lead Wichita County to Great Bend.
