Mrs. Laura V. Bauck was born on March 3rd, 1925 and passed away on Sunday, June 20th, at the Catholic Care Assisted Living Center in Bel Aire, Ks. She was 85.
Mrs. Bauck was born in Victoria, Kansas. On May 10th of 1948, she married Carl F. Bauck in Damar, Ks. She was a homemaker and farmer. They moved from Wichita County to Garden City in 1992. He passed away on July 18th of 2006. Mrs. Bauck then moved to Wichita in 2007. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Leoti. VFW Auxiliary.
Mrs. Bauck is survived by 1 son, James C., of Eastsound, Washington, 2 daughters; Connie Barnum of Wichita and Nancy Bauck of Los Angeles, California, 1 sister, Toni Campbell, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Vigil and Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23rd at the Catholic Church in Leoti. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 on Thursday, June 24th, at the church in Leoti.
Burial will be at the St. Theresa Cemetary in Wichita County.
The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Leoti or the Catholic Care Assisted Living Care Center, both in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
