Winds were terrible yesterday and last night in the Leoti area. Dirt and smoke in the air made life tough for asthmatics such as me. I had THREE attacks yesterday afternoon and night...
Things will not improve today or tomorrow. According to KSN (Kansas State Network) weather reports, winds will be worse today. 30-40 mph sustained winds are expected as a cold front enters into our picture. Temperatures will be cooler also. Yesterday, we received the near 80s. Today and tomorrow's highs will be in the upper 70s.
Stan and I worked on the backyard yesterday and had plans of continuing our work today. As of right now, it looks like Stan will be working by himself today. If he needs me for a few minutes, I will definitely help. But at this moment, I need to give my asthma a break. If you are bored and would like to help Stan, come on over! I am sure that he would welcome your help in building fence!!!
So far, I have heard nothing about Red Flag Weather. Even though that is the case, we need to exhibit common sense and not burn anything these two days.
My advise for the day? Hang on to your hats and don't wear anything that includes a skirt unless you are wearing long pants under it! LOL!!! My moo moo will remain in the house right where it belongs...
