Esther Amy Braun, age 86, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. She was born May 5, 1924 in Leoti, Kansas the daughter of Wm. David and Amy Nellie Greemore Watson. A lifetime resident of Leoti she had worked as a chef in the local café for many years.
She was a member of the Christian faith and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
On August 18, 1941 she married Frank R. Taylor. Then on May 16, 1965 she married Tony Braun.
Survivors include: Three Sons, Frank W. Taylor of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Robert M. Taylor of Leoti, Kansas and Richard E. Taylor of Leoti, Kansas; One Daughter, Penny Crouch of Leoti, Kansas; Sixteen Grandchildren, Thirty Great-Grandchildren and Fifteen Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dunette Louise Bloedorn and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas with Rev. Paul McNall presiding.
Friends may call from Noon-8:00pm Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral home in Leoti, Kansas.
Interment will be in the Wichita County Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
The family requests memorials be given to the Leoti EMT’s or the Wichita County Volunteer Fire Dept. both in care of the funeral home.
