It is difficult to believe that just three weeks ago, my mom, Lori, Lars, Leighlyn, Abigayle and I went to Hutchinson and Lindsborg for the day. It was absolutely one of my most favorite outings EVER!!! We laughed, visited...life was good!
Today, all of the same characters made our trek to another doctor's appointment. This time, it was for Lori. Unfortunately, the adults did not do much laughing. The three kids did and that was wonderful. Lori was very sick and in a great deal of pain. That has become a normal day for her. Depression has set in also.
We met with a surgeon today who was unable to answer many questions. He gave us ideas of things that we need to do to find the answers to the questions. So, next Tuesday morning at 10:00, we will all be at Hays where Lori will have a CT-Scan.
Lori is still unable to do anything except for sit in her lift chair. I honestly have never seen her like this...
