Around midnight last night, Saturday, we were awakened by gunshots. Of course, I called the police department to report it. By the time that I had called about them, several other people had called as well. If you happen to know what happened, please let me know. If I hear what the shots were about, I will definitely let you know also!
Leoti is very fortunate. The last time that any murders were reported here was back in 1998 or 1999 when a double homicide took place. (sooo scary!!!) That is one of the great advantages to living in small towns! For the most part we all get along well and wouldn't dream of taking someone else's life!!!
We do live pretty close to the edge of town so maybe someone was shooting at coyotes, etc. Livestock live just a block from us and they would be prime prey for coyotes.
