Virginia A. Robinson, 66, passed away on Tuesday, December 29th at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. She was born on August 27th, 1943 to Louis and Wilma Turley-Smith. Most recently, she had been an aide at Parkview Nursing Home in Scott City.
On December 4th, 1961, she married Richard Robinson. He passed away on December 29th, 1972. (Exactly 37 years before she died.)
She is survived by one daughter, Alberta and Bernie Zimmerman of Greenfield, Iowa; 3 sons, Jess and Lauri Robinson of Big Lake, Minnesota; Richard and Daven Robinson of Scott City, Ks.; Louis and Carolyn Robinson of Des Moines, Iowa; her father, Louis Smith, of Scott City, one brother, Larry and Jacque Smith, of Bucklin, Kansas; nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Her memorial services were held on December 31st, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Scott City.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Scott City in care of Price and Sons Funeral home.
