Mr. MacCandless was born on January 25 of 1927 and passed away on Friday, March 27th at the Scott County Hospital. He was 83.
On February 6th of 1948, he married Treva Mallary in Emporia. She survives. Other survivors include 1 son, Mark and Suzanne of Scott City and 1 daughter, Kim and Barry Beard of Manitou Springs, Colorado, 5 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews.
His funeral will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City at 2:00 on Monday, March 29th.
Interment will be at Scott County Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Camp Lakeside or the Silent Angels Animal Rescue and Shelter in care of Price and Sons Funeral Homes.
