Since last week, we have really picked up momentum on our kitchen! Two countertops are now tiled and grouted. The kitchen sink and the dishwasher are now reconnected and working well! Stan connected our new faucet last night. It is just totally unbelievable! Never before, have I seen a faucet as a work of art until this one came along.
Tonight, we laid the bullnose tile on the finished countertops. Stan's vacation began tonight. Since then, he cut tile until it became too dark to do it safely. (Our wet saw is on the back deck.) He was able to lay out the tile on the last countertop.
Tomorrow, we plan on laying it permanently and getting a start on the electrical outlets before we place the backsplash. At this time, it looks like we should finish before the weekend! Ah, that sounds so wonderful!!! Soon, our house will be back in order and we will be able to cook in our kitchen.
