The girls and I are busily cleaning house and doing laundry today. When it was time for lunch, we decided to order it from the Dairy King. No problem. We went to the D.K., ordered and waited patiently in the car for our signal that our goodies were ready.
Ordinarily, I would have left the car turned on because I am so very cold-blooded (most of the time). For some unknown reason, I turned it off as soon as we had parked. As soon as Leighlyn brought our lunch back to the driver's side of the car, I attempted to roll the window down. The window went halfway down and then stopped. I attempted to roll it down further. Nothing doing. Come to find out, our battery was as dead as a doorknob.
Now what? I pulled my phone out of my bra-cket and called my dear brother-in-law, Leif. As he drove his pick-up to the point where he could boost the car, Vic Case pulled in next to us. Both, Leif and Vic, were just great! They boosted the car which started practically immediately.
Anyway, I want to thank Leif and Vic for helping us in our time of need!!!
I admit that it would be nice sometimes to live in a town the size of Garden City because of the additional shopping areas and more entertainment possibilities. But Leoti is outstanding. One of the many reasons for it to be so is because of people like Leif and Vic who go above and beyond to help their fellowmen!!!
