I am soooooooooo happy to report that our kitchen renovation is almost complete now! The last tiles have been laid, all kitchen cabinet doors are hung in place and the first of three coats of polyurethane has been completed on the cabinets.
The next step will be for me to finely sand this coat of poly before rolling the second coat on. Stan still has to do just a little more grouting on one of the backsplashes. He cannot do that until the adhesive on the last tiles laid is dryer--tomorrow morning.
He also hung the undercabinet lights on one of the countertops this afternoon. Hopefully, he will string the last set above the second counter this evening.
Once all is finished and the decor is just as we want it, we will take pictures and post them right here!
