Former-Leotian and other people to leave for Darfur, Africa again

Just heard from Chris Campbell (JoAnn Dierks'-Campbell's daughter) again. She and Peter are currently at their home in Tuscany and are currently making last minute preparations for their flight to Africa tomorrow, April 7th. They will be visiting 4 different camps in Darfur again. They have been to one of the camps before so they are anxious to see if they recognize anyone from back then. Chris and Peter also hope to go to a refugee camp in Congo while they are there this time.

Amongst everything else that they have been loading into their jet the past few days, they are making sure that plenty of candies and pencils, both prized possessions in Africa, are included. Pencils and candy are nothing too exciting in the U.S. but over there, they are major thrill makers. Peter and Chris will be stuffing their pockets completely full of these little tokens so that they can share them with the kids!

During their stay in Africa, they are going to try to get in touch with me so that I can update my blog on this latest crusade of theirs. As you know, they deliver medications and give immunizations to the people in such desperate need there.

Please keep them in your daily prayers! We already know that this mission of theirs is not easy. Along with traveling over very rough terrain, there are always the people who do not want help to get through to the campers and refugees...
