Pearl E. Farr was born on June 29th of 1926. Her parents were Ed and Delbia Brandenberger-Hasc in Ellendale, North Dakota and passed away on April 5th of 2010 at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. She was 83.
Mrs. Farr moved to Scott City in 1936. She had been a waitress and cook at various restaurants in Scott City. On January 17th of 1975, she married Leon Farr. He survives.
She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary--all of Scott City.
Survivors include her husband of Scott City, one sister, Caroline Delane Geeseka, and one nephew, Guy H. Geeseka, both of Kansas.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 8th, at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scott City. Interment will be at the Scott County Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Pearl E. Farr Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
