The children at the Christ Covenant Church will be spotlighted at this year's Christmas Program on Wednesday, December 16th, at the church. I will announce the time at a later date when it is available. This is open to anyone who wishes to attend!
Jeanette Price and Angie Everest will be conducting a dance number at the program! Several of the involved girls have been ballet students of Jeanette for several years. A couple of skits will also be done.
Afterwards, refreshments will be offered.

The people at C.A.C.P., Community Animal Care Programs, are going to be holding various sales, etc. throughout the community in order to raise money for such things as dog/cat spaying/neutering. You can help by purchasing items from these sales. Steven Minor
We heard in church this morning, November 8th, that former Leotian, Steven Minor, had passed away last week. His surviving sisters include Janice Kreutzer, Maureen and Brenda. People told me that they think that he was about 60-years-old.

S. Lucille Hallmark
S. Lucille Hallmark was born on November 3rd of 1912 and passed away on November 5th of 2009 at the age of 97 in Garden City. She was the oldest living member of Garden City's Nazarene Church.
She married Rolland Raymond Jobe in February of 1928. He died later that year. On September 17th, 1932, she married Johnnie Taylor Hallmark in Lakin. He died on May 7th, 1980.
Survivors include her two daughters, Dorothy I. Unruh of Stafford, Ks. and Betty Mast of Scott City, 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 44 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral servies will be held on Monday, November 9th at the Church of the Nazarine in Garden City.
Memorials are suggested to the Church in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.

Some good friends of ours are setting up a recreation room for their children here in Leoti. They are interested in purchasing a used pool table and some furniture. Nothing has to be in great shape. They're perfectly willing to clean, fix, etc. They own a pick-up and are willing to come to your house, etc. and pick any of these items up.
