GAP's Preparation for Summer Camp
It is that time of the year again when the youth and their parents in Wichita County, begin preparing for summer camp at New Life Ranch just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wichita County youth will be enjoying camp from Sunday, June 5th, through Saturday, June 11th.
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 2nd, the camp informational meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m., at Christ Covenant Church in Leoti. All parents are urged to attend this meeting if their child(ren) might be interested in going to this outstanding Christian camp. If you are interested in more details, please call Youth Pastor Kevin Larson at 620.214.2358.
Camp tuition is not cheap. To defray costs, various fundraisers will be beginning soon. We will discuss those at the meeting tomorrow evening as well as many other topics.

I just asked Ger for more details on the brothers, how they started their music, etc. He directed me to their website: www.corriganbrothers.net . Once there, you'll find all kinds of information and lots of photos! If you need some laughter in your life today, go to the website immediately! LOL! It seems that anything that you read about these fine Irish men there, you'll find yourself laughing out loud! Too many of us have little or nothing to laugh about these days. Reading the information on their website just might remind you of how easy it is to laugh again. Don't get me wrong. Their website is not just fun and games. It contains much of their history. Don't forget to go into the individual band members section. Information is posted for each one that gives you insight into their personal lives. That information, too, gives you reason for chuckles. This is pretty neat! My birthday, October 29th, just happens to land on the 5th Sunday this year...
This year we experienced and are going to experience four unusual dates: 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11; that's not all ... take the last two digits of the year in which you were born; now add the age you will be this year, and the result will be 111 for everyone!
For example - Harry was born in 1957, and 57 + 54 = 111
This is the year of Money!!!
This year October will have 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays and 5 Saturdays.
This happens only every 823 years.
These particular years are known as 'Moneybags' - the proverb goes that if you send this to eight
good friends, money will appear in the next four days as is explained in Chinese feng-shui.

The video celebrates the forthcoming visit of the President to Moneygall,Ireland in May 2011. The song will be released as a single In Ireland and the USA- at the end of April with all proceeds to be donated to charity. Ger Corrigan Lead singer with the Corrigan Brothers said “We are delighted to have made this video with the Moneygall community and it was great to have Derek and Brenda Involved.
