Golf Course Members Request

As I've mentioned here before, lots of fun to be had will be available at the Leoti Municipal Golf Course on Sunday, October 3rd. This event is to raise money for expenses of the golf course and is open to EVERYONE from far and wide!!!

Games will be set up for the kiddies. The golf course members are in need of a few items for them.

A minature golf course will be erected. (Doesn't that sound like a hoot???) They are in need of some wire stakes to be put in the ground that will NOT leave big holes.

There will also be a sandpile. They are in need of some small plastic toys, Cammo-like toys and colorful, plastic toys.

They also need some sort of a ball return. Plastic molded shapes like these used to come with kids' race car games.

If you have or can get some of these items, please send an email to Janelle Downs at cjdowns@wbsnet.org . Janelle will be very happy to save you a trip of having to deliver them yourself. She will come to your home or business to pick them up.

Don't forget that they are wanting individuals or groups to come to the golf course and set up displays of items that you want to sell. Do you have a craft or skill that people would be interested in purchasing? For instance, anything that you would sell at Scott City's Whimmy Diddle, would be great! Or, have you canned something this year that you would like to sell to those people who did not plant a garden? Thanksgiving and Christmas are just a few steps away from us now. Would you like to bring homemade foods that could be frozen until the holidays are closer? Do you make jewelry, purses, vests? Do you have any pets to sell or give away? You could bring pictures of them to the festival! Do you make candles? Do you make toys? Do you have any inventions that others may appreciate? Do you want to set up a display of services that your business offers? Do you make candies? Do you make furniture? The list goes on and on of what you could offer to the rest of us.
