Alta M. Krebs, age 93, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on August 20, 1917 in Gove County, Kansas, the daughter of Orie & Agnes Roemer Scott. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1931 moving from Gove, Kansas, she was a homemaker.
Her memberships include the Pence Community Church, Pence EHU, Pence 4-H of Pence, Kansas. The Rebekah Lodge, Scott County Extension Council, and a Charter Member of the Scott County VIP Board of Scott City, Kansas.
On March 17, 1937 she married William R. Krebs in Scott County, Kansas. He passed away on March 7, 1989 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors Includes her One Son - Donald E. & Jeanie Krebs of Buhler, Kansas, One Sister - Lois & Loren Muller of Pratt, Kansas, One Daughter in Law - Marilyn Krebs of Scott City, Kansas, Eight Grandchildren -Deena & Stephen Hedges of Burlington, Kansas, Brad & Tammy Krebs of Quincy, Illinois, Andy & Donna Krebs of Fairland, Oklahoma, Matt & Judy Krebs of Littleton, Colorado, Dan & Angie Krebs of Wichita, Kansas, Anna & Brad Berg of McPherson, Kansas, Beth & Keith Schobert of Wichita, Kansas, Abi & Will Goertzen of Lawrence, Kansas, Twelve Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Son – William D. Krebs, Nine Brothers and Four Sisters.
Funeral Service will be held at the Pence Community Church in Pence, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2010 with Pastor Andy Krebs presiding.
Graveside Service will be held at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2010.
Memorials may be given to the Pence Community Church Or the Scott County VIP Center % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
