The movie playing at Tribune's Star Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, September 11th and 12th, is the action/comedy, THE OTHER GUYS. It is rated PG-13. Stars include Will Farrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendez, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaten, Dwayne Johnson, Steve Coogan, etc.
Set in New York City, Detective Gamble (Ferrell), a forensic accountant who is more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Hoitz, a tough guy who has been stuck with Gamble as his partner ever since an unfortunate run-in with the city's 3 top cops, but when an opportunity arises for the other guys to step up, things don't quite go as planned...
This movie starts at 7:30 CST. Adults: $5.00, people 12 and under pay $4.00.
Next weekend, September 18th and 19th, is Julia Robert's drama/adaptation, EAT, PRAY, LOVE. It, too, will start at 7:30 CST.
