Painting tip

If you seem to be a chronic painter as I am, you may be just as tickled by this advice as I was!

After opening your paint can, remove the lid completely. Then, take any rubberband that is big enough to wrap around the entire paint can from top to bottom. Position upper part of the band in the center of the can's opening. Dip your paint brush into the paint BUT instead of wiping the brush on the paint can to remove excess paint, just wipe it on the middle of the rubberband. The excess paint will fall to the center of the paint and you won't have major drips on the side of your can which can cause problems with replacing the lid later.
