Yard Waste Dumpsters

In case you are interested in letting the City employees rid your yard of yard waste, please call the City at 375-2341. You will need to purchase the dumpster(s) directly from City Hall. They are larger than our regular dumpsters, have two large wheels and an attached lid on top. They can be moved around your yard as needed. If you will set them out with your regular trash dumpsters, the trash employees will dump them on Thursdays.

The current price for a dumpster is $90.00. You are very welcome to purchase these dumpsters on a payment plan. The City asks that you make a minimal payment of $10.00 every month until your dumpster has been paid off completely.

There is a monthly charge for the disposal of your waste. It is $7.45. This charge will be automatically added to your water bill.

Yard waste dumpsters are to be used ONLY for yard waste--no other kind of trash is allowable in these containers. A label is sttached to these containers so that people do not forget.

We purchased one of these dumpsters a few years ago and are quite pleased with the dumpster itself and the convenience of not having to haul the waste to the landfill ourselves.
