Before I go any further, I just have to say it was wonderful seeing all of the people from Wichita County who showed up to last weekend's performance of WAR HORSE! Many of you pointed out that Tribune is a fantastic theatre that charges far less for tickets and refreshments. Keep coming to the Star. You're always welcome!
This weekend's movie is JOYFUL NOISE. This Comedy/Music is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 118 minutes. Stars include Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton, Keke Palmer... From what I've been told, we can expect a lot of fun and a wonderful message from this movie.
Synopsis: A small town choir gives it their all when they come out for a national music competition. They hope to finish as Number 1. Choir leaders, Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton lead their choir of young people through the odds that are stacked against them so that they can win God's praise and the grand prize.
Adults, 13 and older: $5.00
Children, 4 through 12: $4.00
Babies through 3-year-olds: F--R--E--E
Refreshments are always fairly priced also.
Showtime is 8:00 CST on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 17th, 18th and 19th.
