Adam Blau

You know, the old saying goes that God never gives us any more than we can handle. For the past couple of months, we have endured great stress with Lori's illness, etc. We are finally getting close to getting to bring her home again. HALLELUJAH!!!

Then, today, a new stressor arrived at our doorstep. Our son, Adam, called me and told me that he was having major problems with bleeding. He went to his doctor in Scott City who did tests and then sent Adam to Dr. Arroyo, a well-known surgeon in Garden City.

Dr. Arroyo performed more tests which revealed that surgery needs to be done ASAP. Since Adam had been eating throughout the day, no surgery could be done until tomorrow, Thursday. So, Adam, his wife, Mel, and I will be leaving for GC tomorrow morning.

Honestly, I have very little information as to what kind of surgery will be performed, how long it should take, etc. I do know that Adam will be hospitalized afterwards and will be unable to work for 2-4 weeks.
