Charles Eugene Sons, age 64, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. He was born December 23, 1945 in Franklin, Missouri, the son of George Washington & Sarah Anna Strothkamp Sons. He was a retired finish construction worker and had been a Tribune resident for a very short period of time formerly of Houston, Texas.
Charles was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed his rides benefiting Toys for Tots.
On May 5, 1964 he married Deanna Bonnell in Colorado.
Charles is survived by A daughter and her husband- Elizabeth & Jeff Keefe- Omaha, Nebraska Two sisters- Ethel Kuder- Tribune, Kansas Betty Gentry- Tribune, Kansas One brother- Leroy Sons- Arvada, Colorado Three grandchildren- Katey, Jeffrey & Zachary Keefe- Omaha, Nebraska
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. ( M.D.T. ) Saturday, October 9, 2010, at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverend Mike Underwood officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Charles Sons Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
