A man whom I know who lives in Scott City recently discovered that he had MERS on his skin. He went to see his doctor who scraped the infection off of the skin, dressed it and told him that he could return to work the following day.
Until now, I did not realize that the skin version could be scraped off. However, this DOES NOT lesson the severity of this infection. Even if the infection is scraped off of the skin, if left there long enough, it could spread to the interior of the body.
Just thought that you may want to know about this treatment.
