Garlic butter toast with cheese

An employee at Mel's told me how she makes this bread. This is what you will need:

A loaf of Texas Toast which Mel's Foodliner sells now
Margarine or butter
Garlic (clove or ground)
Mozzerella cheese

I recently found out that people with one of the medical conditions that I have, should use butter instead of margarine. So...I melted a stick of butter in a saucepan and added ground garlic to it. Once melted, I dipped one side of the bread onto the butter and immediately pulled it out. I then placed it onto a cookie sheet sprayed with PAM. Once I had done this to the amount of pieces that our family required, I sprinkled the mozzerella cheese on top. I then placed it in a 375 degree oven for between 10 and 15 minutes. The longer that you leave it in the oven, the crunchier it will be.

Extra tip: Linda told me that she does this on hamburger and hot dog buns that have become a bit on the hard side. The butter seaps in and refreshens the bread. Once it is brought out of the oven, it is nice and soft again!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this so I wanted to pass it on to you, also!
