It is 106 degrees outside and not much cooler inside. The girls are deciding whether they want to go to the pool or just run through the water. We had thought that our A/C was doing a better job until yesterday when it was over 100 outside. By 2:00 a.m., the house temp was a very comfortable 75 degrees. Somewhere between 2:00 and 10:00, the machine had frozen up which means that no more coolness gets into the house. At that point, it is mandatory that the A/C unit be turned off for at least 45 minutes but the unit's fan needs to run to help the unit thaw out.
In the meantime, Stan and I are trying to do more work on our new walk-in closet. As it is right now, we don't have nearly enough room to hang our clothes in there. We have fans in there to help us out.
I don't know how much longer we are going to be able to live in conditions like this...
