Ramona Zubia - Garden City (March 21, 1957 - August 28, 2010)

Ramona Zubia, age 53, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born March 21, 1957 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico the daughter of Manuel and Elvira Alcantar Zubia. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1999 moving from Salinas, California.
She was a member of the Catholic faith.
In 1980, she married Aniceto Flores. He survives.
Other survivors include: One Son, Manuel Palma of the home; Five Daughters, Maribel Valenzuela of Chicago, Illinois, Mariana Palma of Garden City, Kansas, Maria Palma of Watts, California, Melissa Palma of Garden City, Kansas and Melina Magana of Garden City, Kansas; One Brother, Three Sisters and Fourteen Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Monterrey, California.
There will be no local calling times.
The family requests memorials be given to the Ramona Zubia Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
