Mass Gift to Parents of Students of Wichita County Schools

It is at this time of the year when summer is coming to a close and fall is in the very near future when stress levels begin to rise across the nation. Why? Because school is just around the corner so it is time to purchase new school clothes, school supplies, gym clothes, etcetera, etcetera... And to top it all off, we need to pay for the textbook charges, etc that every school district deems necessary. This week, school officials passed on the good news to parents when they came to enroll their students that the District 467 School Board Members decided that with all of the financial struggles that most Americans are facing right now, paying the book charges is not going to be a problem this year. Wonderful!!! The parents are still required to pay for milk tickets if their child goes to grade school and wants to drink milk. Lunch tickets also needed to be purchased for any child who will be participating in the school's lunch program.

We, parents, really need to give a BIG thank you to Dr. Hardy and the USD 467 School Board!!!
