Yesterday was a lovely day for Lori! Grandma, Mama, Leif and Lars spent the day with her. Before they left, some great people from Leoti dropped in for a visit. The whole bunch had a wonderful time together! A good deal of conversation and laughter was produced by everyone in the room. Thank you, D and J, for bringing so much enjoyment to Lori and everyone else!!!
Today, I just got WONDERFUL news!!!!!!!!!!!! Lori's doctors have decided that she is well enough to return home TODAY!!! Leif and Lars will pick her up. Of course, Lori is not totally up to her old self but she will get there. She has more appointments scheduled with specialists later this month in Wichita and possibly in Topeka. In case you have lost track of time, Lori has just spent 17 days in the hospital in Hays and almost a week in KU Med Center just before that. She spent practically a month in the hospital!
In the meantime, PLEASE continue to pray for Lori.
