Dorothy Patton--Scott City

Dorothy N. Patton, age 97, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 13, 1913 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Irvin H. and Charlotta Ryan See. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker, part time clerk, and a cook for the Shallow Water School and Scott City Elementary School.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and First Baptist Women in Scott City, Kansas. Dorothy’s favorite activity was playing cards with her family.
On February 12, 1933 she married Oscar William Patton in Eads, Colorado. He passed away on February 6, 1974 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors Include her Son - Chuck Patton of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Two Sisters - Hazel Eikerman of Flagler, Colorado, Lorena Turley of Scott City, Kansas, Nine Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, and One Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Sons – Larry Patton & Loren Patton, Four Brothers and Three Sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be given to the First Baptist Church Or Park Lane Nursing Home % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
Visitation will be held form 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home.
