Silage harvest in Western Kansas has begun. From these uneducated eyes, the crops just look beautiful. I hope that they really are. I have noticed that I am not seeing as many sunflower fields as in the past. Maybe I am just not around the areas where they are planted.
During silage harvest as wheat harvest, we all need to be especially watchful as we drive.
