Great news!!! Our prayers are working!!!
As I mentioned an hour ago, Lori was transferred to the CT Lab to see if their technicians could install the much-needed PIK line. Fortunately, one of them got the job done! She has now had her CT Scan and a sonogram of her leg done. One of her caregivers said that it is almost a given that she has a clot somewhere. When they listen to her heartbeat, one side of her body is louder than the other side. We just wait until the results come back. Please continue to pray!
She has received the same fast blood thinners through her stomach through shots as I have had to do several times. These meds are also being piped into her blood veins.
As soon as I know what the results are, I will post them here.
