I just want to remind all drivers in our area that the great numbers of deer are out and about. I've been hearing of entire herds of them being found on the highways and will not move. One man told me that his car came to a full stop before the deer decided to move off of the road. Last night, I heard of a car accident north of town somewhere. The car had hit a deer. The dead deer was on one side of the highway--the car with a hole in it's windshield was parked on the other side of the highway.
