What a delightful evening!!!

The strofoam "china" has been tossed in the trash along with the fine plastic crystal and the hard plastic cutlery. The trashbags have since been taken to the trash dumpsters next to the alley.

The delicious enchiladas, Spanish rice, guacomole, cheddar and refried bean dips, tender corn chips, luscious jello salad and outstanding cake is GONE! The dining room table has been polished to a deep shine that reflects the pot of flowers on it just like a mirror. The kitchen's tiled floor is swept clean again. The wooden floor in the dining room has been returned to the same condition as it was in before our company arrived a few hours ago. All that remains now are the memories filled with great amounts of laughter...

The guest list included Grandma (Neva Kiefer-Duncan), Nonny (Donna Lou Elder), my sister and co-birthday girl, Lori, Uncle Leif, and son, Lars Patric, Uncle Rob Carson, my sister, Lona Sue, their son, Hunter Dane, our son, Adam, co-birthday girl and our beautiful daughter-in-law, Mel, my Danley, our daughters, Leighlyn, Abigayle and me. Unfortunately, Leif and Lori's daughter, Marlene, and her husband, two daughters and two sons were not able to be here after all. We are looking forward to getting to see them next weekend instead!!!

The food was excellent and the company was even more delightful!!! It is at times like this that I realize just how very much God has blessed me!!!
I hope that each and every one of you have an amazing family just as I have!

Thank You, Lord!!!
