Conclusion

Okay, Folks. I took time out of my lunch hour to check the baby car seat information that I posted last night. I urge you to check it out for yourselves. You may get something different out of it than I did.

There is a snopes accounting of this subject matter, HOWEVER, as I understood it, some variations of this information broadcast that this activity would happen during so-called "Gang week" which, as I understood it, usually happens around Halloween. I would think that each gang might have their own gang week at different times of the year. So far, none of my calendars have scheduled a gang week at any particular time. Ha! Though what I posted detailed gang members as being the people who would set up a carseat for such purpose as to beat, rape and/or kill women, I don't believe that only gangs would be interested in using this type of target.

I cannot say that I definitely know that this has happened NOR can I say that it has not happened. Unfortunately, we live in a society where stranger things like this have and do happen. Don't believe me? Then check out the news on TV, your radio or on the internet. Because of these upsetting events, I choose to bury my head in the sand by avoiding the broadcast news as much as possible. I realize how stupid that makes me sound but it is the option that I have chosen so that I don't stay awake all night out of fear. Take it or leave it.

In conclusion, I honestly believe that ploys such as this have probably been used or may be used sometime in the future. I do NOT, however, believe that only gangs might use these tactics. I would be more inclined in believing that individuals instead of groups of people would try something like this. Who knows? Maybe I have watched one more crime show on TV than I should have. LOL!!! Do with it whatever you want. Ignore it. Or use this information as fuel to be more aware of what may be going on around you.
