GAP is usually held for junior and senior high students in Wichita County every Wednesday evening during the school year. Tomorrow, September 28th, is one such day. However, there will be something different this week...the movie, SOUL SURFER, which was released in April of 2011, will be playing for anyone and everyone interested. Admission is F-R-E-E. Dinner begins at regular time for the students. The movie begins for everyone at 7:00 p.m., CST. The movie will be held at Christ Covenant Church in Leoti.
This movie is described as Drama/Biography/Teen and is rated PG because of an intense accident sequence and some thematic material. Stars include Carrie Underwood, Helen Hunt, Anna Sophia Robb, Lorraine Nicholson, Kevin Sorbo and Dennis Quaid. The movie runs for 106 minutes.
Synopsis: SOUL SURFER is the true story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a chanpion again, through her sheer determination and unwavering faith.
