Wanda L. Huck, age 83, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Thursday, September 22, 2011. She was born on October 1, 1927 in Coldwater, Kansas, the daughter of Ralph and Gertrude Nokes Oller. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1947, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, EHU, Eastern Star, UMW, UMW Circle, Scott County Historical Society, Sunday School Class, and a past member of Alpha Omega Sorority and was a 4-H Leader all of Scott City.
She married Delmar D. Huck on August 10, 1947 in Coldwater, Kansas. He passed away on December 29, 2001 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include her Three Sons - Richard D. Huck of Scott City, Kansas, Randall K. Huck of Scott City, Kansas, David R. Huck of Scott City, Kansas, Nine Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Daughter – Gwen Diane Modlin, and Two Sisters – Carol Elliott and Sharon Chilcote.
Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2011 with the Rev. Dennis Carter presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Scott County Library % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
