Mrs. Dearden, 77, was born on November 7th of 1932 and passed away on Saturday, March 28th at Parklane Nursing Home in Scott City.
She was born in Rush County and was a lifetime resident of Scott County. She was a homemaker.
She was on the Lakeview FCE council for over 50 years, past Wheatland FCE Aux. #3124 and on the Scott County FCE Council.
On July 7th of 1950, she married Alva A. Dearden. He passed away on March 3rd of 2006 in Scott City.
Survivors include four sons: Lawrence D. of Scott City; Richard P. of Scott City; Alan B. of Scott City and Thad E. of Scott City. One daughter, Brenda Dearden of Garden City. One sister, Doris Reed of Scott City, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City at 2:00 on Wednesday, March 31st.
Memorials may be given to the Scott County Relay for Life in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
