Feeling a little sluggish or downright plugged up???

No, I am not referring to your bowels. LOL! I am talking about your indoor plumbing. About 9 years ago, Stan completely gutted our main bathroom and installed a GLORIOUS soaking tub for us girls. It is just so luxurious! Water and bubbles just surround you so very nicely.

For most of those years, we have had a steady problem of a v--e--r--y slow drain. Since the tub holds more water than most bathtubs, it takes an extra long time to dump all of the water out of it. During the past week or two, the problem was worse than ever.

This morning, I told Stan that we needed to just break down and buy some drain cleaner. After lunch, we made our trip to Western Hardware to buy several other things so while we were there, I asked one of my favorites where the drain cleaners were located. He immediately pulled out a white plastic bottle that is wrapped in a clear plastic bag (for personal safety purposes). He told me that it is the best that he knows of. We paid just a bit over $10.00 for it and brought it home.

Stan poured 6 ounces of it into the bathtub. After it had been in the drain for the suggested amount of time, 4 minutes, he ran COLD water into the tub for several more minutes as suggested. The water drained better but was nothing to brag about so he decided to do it again. Shortly after the cleaner got into the drain, smoke appeared in the run-off attachment. As soon as the four minutes were up again, he once again ran the cold water through it for the alloted time. OH, MY GOODNESS!!! I cannot believe how quickly the water is draining out of the tub now. I DEFINITELY recommend it to you now!!!

Here is the information that you will need in order to purchase it for yourselves:

It is Mark 55 Heavy Duty Drain Cleaner for sinks, bathtubs, grease traps and floor drains. It eats through rags, paper, soap deposits, sanitary napkins, coffee grounds, food scraps, etc.

It is poisonous so PLEASE follow all of the directions and safety information.
