Jon David Kleymann--Tribune

(August 16, 1949 - January 5, 2012)

Jon David Kleymann, age 62, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his home in rural Wichita County, Kansas. Jon was born August 16, 1949 in Tribune, Kansas, the son of Leo Raymond & Priscilla Kinlund Kleymann, Sr., he was a farmer/stockman and a lifetime resident of Greeley and Wichita Counties. Jon graduated from Greeley County High School in 1968 attended Hutchison Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas and the National Electronics Institute in Denver, Colorado. He loved to hunt, fish and ski, enjoyed life and people in general, especially his grandchildren.

Jon was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, both in Tribune, Kansas.

On May 27, 1972, Jon married Michael Ann Elizabeth Degnan (Micki) in Garden City, Kansas.

Jon’s surviving family includes; His Wife, Micki Kleymann,Tribune, Kansas; Two sons and their wives, Jon Michael & Tiffany Kleymann, Tribune, Kansas, James & Wendy Kleymann, Tribune, Kansas; His Mother, Priscilla Kleymann, Tribune, Kansas; One grandson, Kade Kleymann, Tribune, Kansas; Two Granddaughters, Lily Kleymann, Tribune, Kansas; Quinn Kleymann, Tribune, Kansas; Two sisters and their husbands, Ann & Ron Corrigan; Blue Springs, Missouri, Valerie & Jerry Nordberg, Wichita, Kansas

His father, Leo R. Kleymann, Sr. and a brother, Leo R. Kleymann, Jr, preceded him in death.

Vigil Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. (M.D.T.) Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune, Kansas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. (M.D.T.) Tuesday, January 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Benjamin Martin officiating.

Burial will be in St. Theresa Cemetery in rural Wichita County, Kansas.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Jon D. Kleymann memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
