WE BOUGHT A ZOO, adaptation and drama, will be playing at the Star on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 3rd, 4th and 5th. This movie which is based on a true story is rated PG for language and some thematic elements. It opened in theatres on December 23rd, 2011. Stars include Matt Damon, Colin Ford, Thomas Haden Church, Scarlett Johansson, etc.
Shortly after Benjamin Mee was widowed, he purchased a beautiful estate for his family just outside of the city. Part of his new property was a 200 animal zoo that required much work. Mr. Mee had to agree to care for the zoo before he was allowed to purchase the estate. After that, his family, etc did just that. They brought the zoo back to a great condition.
Showtime is 8:00 CST.
