For awhile, it has seemed that winter had decided to move on out of here. Temps have been much more like what is associated with March instead of January. I watched the noon news today and found out that winter is making a major return to Kansas this Friday. Much of Eastern Kansas can expect rain. Western Kansas could be on track for very significant snow and blowing snow. If that is to be the case, we might want to tie up any of those things that we've been doing outdoors and prepare for cold and snow instead. I recommend that if you live anywhere in Kansas, that you keep an eye open for winter storm reports, etc before you strike out.
