Snow Has Arrived!!!

We began receiving snow here earlier this afternoon. At times, it has come down very heavily. At other times, there has been nothing. Winds are beginning to pick up again now which is causing a little bit of blowing around of the inch that has fallen so far. The visibility has definitely decreased. Stan, the girls and I had gone to the Seaboard Mill in mid-afternoon. When we went there, there was some snow on the ground--not much. Two hours later, everything was covered with snow and more was falling. When we started back to town, we were unable to see Leoti until we were between Biermann's house and Jones Construction's headquarters. The highway was beginning to get bad.

Since then, we have noticed that State vehicles are out working on the highways. Right now, we don't appear to be getting snow but perhaps it might be going to come back in later.

Anyway, if you need to be out and about, please be careful!

This snow is full of the much needed moisture that we need so desperately. We need to be thankful for every drop of rain and every flake of snow that we can get!!!
