Have an ankering to go skiing, snowshoeing, tubing or snowmobiling? Then don't come to Wichita County! LOL!!! However, you may be interested in heading for Grand County, Colorado. They have received much more snow than they have had in years! There is plenty of powder to go around.
Every weekend in February, you can stay in one of the ever-romantic, hotels, bed-and-breakfasts, cabins or resorts. While you are staying in one of them, don't forget to take advantage of their F-R-E-E horse drawn carriage rides!
If you're interested in trout fishing, head out onto the ice and bring 'em in!
Two-for-one passes will be in effect on Sunday and Monday, February 13th and 14th. Buy one, get one free.
As of right now, Full Moon Skiing is planned for Friday, February 18th, or right around then anyway. The skiing will run from 5-9:00 Mountain Standard Time. You might want to call 970-627-8872 for more details on this.
