As you may already know, the interior of our home was frr-eezing during the night. The cold came in through our utility room door. Of course, that meant that our utility room was probably the coldest in the house. I just started a load of laundry in our brand-new washing machine. Fortunately, if the water had frozen there, it is thawed now. The washing machine filled with hot water just as it should. When I poured the liquid Tide into the proper receptacle, it was thicker than normal. When I added the Downey to the fabric softener center, it came out downright slushy!
